Classes are often taught at miniature shows (visit theSHOWStab).
Instructors will have workshops either before or after
the miniature show.
The National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts (NAME) offers several events and classes where people can learn more about crafting unique miniatures. Classes on creating miniatures are offered at NAME:
Houseparties, gatherings of miniaturists with workshops, tours, salesrooms, door prizes, etc.
State Days, miniaturing fun that includes workshops, sales, exhibits, etc.
Special events, unique events that offer courses, workshops, sales, exhibits and fun.
The International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA) offers classes for those interested in creating fine art miniatures. IGMA educational opportunities include:
The Guild School, an intensive week-long learning experience offering a wide variety of courses taught by exceptionally talented Artisans and Fellows of The Guild.
Guild Study Programs, held at leading museums, participants work with the museum's curatorial staff and Guild instructors to create miniature replicas of a full-sized object from the museum's collections.
