Owing to the death of our founding director, Ms. Patricia
Bauder, the Trust seeks applications and/or nominations of
an executive director with demonstrated leadership in
developing and managing an arts organization under the
shared vision of a national board of directors.
The National Miniatures Trust, a non-profit, charitable
organization, was formed in 2003 to enrich and expand the
national miniatures community -- its collectors and
collections, businesses and charities, artists and
publications, museums and publications. The Trust aims to
increase awareness of and appreciation for miniatures, as an
historic art form as well as a popular collectible.
The Executive Director is responsible to the board for the
organization’s creative vision, voice and day-to-day
leadership including programs, fundraising, engagement of
partners and oversight of the Trust’s museum. Applicants or
nominees will have exceptional and demonstrated abilities in
communication (written and oral), self-management, teamwork,
and program development. The ideal candidate will be
intimately familiar with the American miniatures community,
and will define him- or herself as a part of that community.
Applicants should have sound understanding of nonprofit
management principals, as well as financial management
skills and significant fundraising experience.
To Apply: Submit letter, resume, and three references (with
contact information) to the contact information listed
